Individual Responsibilities:

 

I understand and accept the necessity to attend all practices and games and will make every humanly effort to do so. If I cannot attend a practice or game, I acknowledge I must notify the coach in advance.

 

I understand and accept decisions about playing time are at the sole discretion of the coaching staff, and all players may not receive equal playing time. (Note: Practice attendance is influential in determination of playing time.)

 

I understand rugby is a contact sport and I am responsible for my own personal health and fitness to ensure I am match ready throughout the season.

 

I understand I must treat my team with respect and a positive attitude is appreciated both on and off the field.

 

Behavioral Expectations:

 

I understand as a player I am a representation of UNCG Women’s rugby. While traveling and during play, I must act respectful, responsible and present myself in a positive manner.

 

I understand and accept that unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.

 

I understand the use of illegal substances will not be tolerated. Furthermore, I acknowledge the team does not encourage underage alcohol consumption.

 

I understand no alcoholic beverages may be consumed at least 36 hours prior to a match.

 

I understand while traveling I must pitch in equally with gas consumption to and from the event.

 

Financial/Fundraising Commitments:

 

I understand and accept I must pay my player dues in full by September 30th 2013 in the amount of $40.00.

 

I understand and accept if my dues are not paid on time, I will not play until my dues are paid in full unless other arrangements have been made with treasurer or the coaching staff.

 

I understand my player dues will cover the expense of sirs, tournaments and team social activities.

 

I understand and accept I am required to participate in two fundraisers. I realize that if two fundraisers are not fulfilled I am responsible to pay $40 for every one incomplete by Monday, October 28th 2013.

 

I understand in order to crossover and become a veteran of the team I must complete the full year of rugby and participate in various team events.

 

I understand that I must be eligible to participate in Matrix games according to USA Rugby’s rules and regulations.

 

I understand that I must complete the full season and be a student of UNCG in order to participate in the teams banquet.

 

I have read and agree with all the terms set by this contract.
